The Five Steps to a Great Interior
Setup:
- Furniture in all areas to be painted are moved to other areas of the home or in the center of the room.
- Furniture and floors are covered with drop cloths.
Preparatory:
- Holes and cracks in walls are filled.
- Gaps in trim are caulked.
- Stains, such as water marks, are sealed.
Painting:
- Repaired areas are primed.
- Paint is applied with a brush or roller depending on the surface.
- Full finish coat is applied to provide proper coverage.
- Clean cut lines between trim and walls.
- Only premium quality paints are used.
Clean-Up:
- Furniture is moved back to the original positions.
- All job related debris is removed.
- Touchup paint is labeled and left with the customer.
Inspection:
- Before the crew leaves a complete inspection is done to ensure all contracted areas are painted properly.
- Final inspection is carried out by the company owner and property owner or manager.
